Established 1979
Jamin Leather® formally known as Jamie's Leather printed our first mail order leather catalog was a limited production release in the fall of 1979. Jamin Jamie concentrated on retail establishments until the fall of 1992. JAMIN LEATHER® began to reach out to the nation with their first full color 1993 edition leather catalog. The catalog was featured, among other places, in "The BEST CATALOGS IN THE WORLD". Since then JaminLeather.com has printed over 2 Million copies in circulation to date. Printed editions are released only 2 to 4 times a year, this is why JAMIN LEATHER® CATALOG jumped onto the net, so users such as yourself, can keep on top of the latest exciting new products available today. Many of the products offered here may never show up in printed editions.THE WORLD WIDE WEB
The FIRST and LARGEST and undisputed! We first logged onto the internet in the summer of 1995. Within 4 weeks we were receiving over 100,000 hits a week and since then significantly more! Our very first online catalog website domain name was LeatherCat.com in 1995 but quickly replace with JaminLeather.com in 1996 only to be split into two websites in or about 2019 with Shop.JaminLeather.com. This allowed Jamin Leather® to focus JaminLeather.com to an information, marketing and SEO website and the Shop site to be our sales channel. After our initial establishment online we maintained a handful of domains such as LeatherCatalog.net in 1996. JamminLeather.com, Leatherdeals.com and Leather1.com in 1997. ALeatherCatalog.com, ELeatherCatalog.com, WeSellLeather.com, IWantLeather.com, MotorcycleMaxLeathers.com and www.JaminLeather.net in around year 2000.CATALOG ON CD-ROM
Jamin Leather® was on CD-Rom for some years. It is a complete off-line replica of our online catalog which you can order and shop. The CD-Rom on the right was the first edition. Thousands of these CD's were distributed throughout the states. We produced one for every edition of our catalog since that time until 2008.
REALITY TV SHOW
Jamin Leather® in 2007 produced a one of a kind reality TV show called "Mr. Jamin' Town" a.k.a. Leather Beach featuring Jamin' Jamie and the antics that go on around the Myrtle Beach Bike Rallies and what Jamin Leather® does to get ready. In 2009 Jamin' Leather® changed the name of the TV Show to "Leather Beach". Jamin Leather® produced 4 episodes that aired in the Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Charlotte/Raleigh NC area. Late in 2009 the TV show was shelved for future consideration. Many portions of the Mr Jamin' Town and Leather Beach can be seen on YouTube by searching Jamin Leather®, Mr Jamin' Town and Leather Beach TV Show.
The OFFICIAL BEACH EVENT GUIDE
In year 1999 Jamin Leather® decided to sponsor the first and only Myrtle Beach Bike Week event resource with comprehensive events listing for the Myrtle Beach area online and in print called the Myrtle Beach Event Guide. The domains we maintained for the website include MyrtleBeachRallies.com, BikeWeekWelcomeCenter.com, MBRallies.com and NakedBikerNews.com in 2000 and later updated the website with domain name of MBEventGuide.com in or around 2009. Jamin Leather® sponsored the production and distribution of the Myrtle Beach Bike Week Events Guide since it's inception. This guide was printed and published twice a year for the motorcycle rally that comes to the beach every year, complete with a full map of the Grand Strand so visitors know exactly where to shop or hang! We printed between 35,000 and 50,000 copies each and every issue. In about 2020 Jamin Leather® discontinued the printed edition and to concentrate on the website, and to this day still maintaining all important Myrtle Beach events that happen year round.

ANCIENT HISTORY
Since the summer of 1975 and the establishment of Jamie's Leather in upstate New York, we had been hand making a large variety of small leather products, from belts and wristbands to handbags and wallets, and offered them for sale at Flea Markets, Craft Shows and State Fairs, Roosevelt Raceway Flea Market in Long Island, Republic Airport Flea Market in Farmingdale NY, Vermont State Fair in Rutland VT, just to name a few.
IS JAMIN SPELLED WRONG?
(We pronounce it jammin' or jam in!) Well we know what some of you are thinking. Jamin' is spelled wrong! Well, you are right, only if you were using the word as as an adjective or adverb, but not if you're writing about the best leather retailer in the industry (at least we think so!). We've read Webster's dictionary (and even received exerts in our e-mail box), but this is a business name that was changed around 1989 intentionally from the name Jamie's Leather (est. 1979) to Jamin', for lack of a better reason, a spelling change. To keep the business ownership anonymous so they can concentrate on the business operations and future of Jamin' Leather®. I guess dealing with customers and salespeople disguised as friends and family of the business asking for handouts, discounts, special services and false claims on merchandise can get to anyone after a while.
Jamin' Leather® has been pondering over a spelling change to Jam In Leather (has a nice ring and won't be mistaken as a misspelling), but the verdict isn't in yet. Besides we also won't have to change our domain name of jaminleather.com.
